When you met your fiance, did you notice the pieces of your lives began clicking into place? Did you imagine that you would be where you are today, with that one special person in this world that you love? That’s what happened when we met in 2008.

Joe had been working for over 10 years at an advertising agency, creating television commercials and shooting commercial photography for magazines. Kathleen, on the other hand, has worked in event planning, public relations, and marketing for more than 13 years.

But neither of us had found our right path, the thing we were meant to do, the thing we were passionate about. Then, along came wedding photography, and the pieces of our lives began clicking together.

Fast-forward to today (5 years later), and we are a husband-wife photography team based in Knoxville TN. We have photographed more than 100 weddings in Knoxville, Maryville, Chattanooga, Johnson City and throughout the Southeast, with hundreds of happy brides and grooms, parents, and families, and we can truly say that we have found our path. We have found "our thing" we are meant to do, the thing we are passionate about, and we can't wait to share it with you!

What's JoPhoto's photography style?

Describing a photography style is sometimes more difficult than it seems. There are certainly adjectives we can use to describe how we see JoPhoto: natural, creative, and fun. But those are just words.

JoPhoto's style is more of a feeling - an experience. When you are being photographed by us, you will have fun, laugh, relax, and enjoy yourselves. Because that is how we envision our clients - brides and grooms, families, and high school seniors.
